I'm listening to Ambient 1 for the first time in years as I'm writing these lines, and I'm completely loosing it. After all these years, on a quest for the perfect ambient release, it was now time for me to go back to the mothership, to realize that what I was looking for was right under my eyes. A story as old as time...

Seriously, it's one of these records, so sumptuous that they transcend the condition of their making. Impossible to date: it's timeless music, or more precisely, music that escape the course of human time. And time-bending also. Anyway, you probably know this record, but like me, you may have left it in a corner of your mind. Time to give it a listen again, and let it change your life a little. (VG+/VG+)
