Another classic ambient release by Brian Eno, lightyears ahead of its time. Less conceptual than Ambient 1, Music For Films is a collection of tunes recorded between 1975-1978. Absolutely gorgeous music by the GOAT. We love you Brian Eno.

 As its name suggests, there's a highly cinematographic tone emanating from all the of the songs. It could almost be a library music LP, but it is not: most tunes have a non-functional quality and are self-sufficient. It's not intended for a pre-existing film, nor a film yet to be made, but the film it soundtracked is contain within the tracks, that project it onto the mind of the listener. (VG+/VG+)
