God, MAW's dub remix on the B side is some stellar material: in a classic New York game of addition and subtraction Louie Vega and Kenny Dope stretch Lil' Louis's jazzy vocal house song, and rip it off Joi Caldwell's vocals that dominate the original mix. Every element from the original song is chopped and resampled into abstract pieces, wearing a vaguely futurist patina, due to the use of then novel production techniques, like timestreching, thus recalling Jungle music producers' approach to sampling. The most nervously exhilarating and hedonist kind of Deep House, that eventually takes an eeire tribal turn, in its last section. Special mention to the Enuff Is More's remix : the Miami-raised producers delivers a motorik and sweaty mix, in the vein of Florida semi god Murk. If it is a crime to love House Music, I plead guilty 😭.
